I am looking for an experienced fiction writer who can continue an existing novel that is currently being published under an exclusive contract on Readict. This is an ongoing writing opportunity for someone who is comfortable taking over an established story and continuing it naturally while maintaining the existing characters, plot direction, tone, pacing, and overall writing style. The writer will be provided with the existing chapters and relevant information about the story before beginning. You will need to read and understand the existing material carefully before continuing the book. The goal is to produce new chapters that feel like a natural continuation of the existing work rather than starting a completely different story.

What I am looking for: Strong fiction-writing ability and good command of English. Experience writing novels, particularly serialized fiction. Ability to maintain consistency in character personalities, relationships, motivations, and development. Ability to follow an existing plot outline and continue the story without losing continuity. Good understanding of pacing, dialogue, tension, emotional development, and chapter endings. Ability to follow instructions and make revisions when necessary. Reliable communication and consistent availability for ongoing work. Ability to meet agreed chapter deadlines. Payment: The rate is ?1.50 per approved word. This is intended to be an ongoing arrangement rather than a one-time writing job. The amount of work will depend on the book's requirements and the writer's availability. Before hiring: Please provide: A brief introduction about yourself and your fiction-writing experience. At least 1–2 samples of your previous fiction work. The genres you are most comfortable writing. Your approximate weekly availability. Your experience with serialized/ongoing novels, if any.
