Project Description:
We are seeking a professional and reliable logistics company or individual hauler to safely transport a consignment of household furniture from Ajah, Lagos to a specified residential address in Delta State. The successful provider will be responsible for the careful handling, secure packing, and timely delivery of the items.

Key Details & Requirements:

• A. Pick-up Location: Ajah, Lagos State. (Full address will be provided upon selection).
• B. Delivery Location: Delta State. (Specific town/address will be provided upon selection).
• C. Nature of Goods: Household furniture and related items.
• D. Proposed Vehicle Type: A covered/box truck or van suitable for moving furniture, with adequate space and necessary equipment (e.g., ropes, blankets, trolley) to secure and protect the items.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:
The selected service provider will be expected to:

1. 1. Coordinate a Pre-Move Inspection: Schedule a visit to the pick-up location in Ajah to assess the volume and nature of the furniture for accurate pricing and vehicle selection.
2. 2. Professional Packing & Loading: Carefully wrap, pack, and load all furniture items onto the truck to prevent scratches, dents, and damage during transit. (Packing materials can be included in the quote).
3. 3. Secure Transportation: Ensure all items are properly secured within the vehicle to prevent shifting and damage during the long-distance journey.
4. 4. Timely Delivery: Transport the goods from Lagos to Delta State within an agreed-upon timeframe.
5. 5. Offloading & Placement: Safely offload the items and place them in the designated rooms at the delivery address in Delta State.
6. 6. Professional Conduct: Maintain clear communication throughout the process and provide professional and courteous service.
   
   

Items to be Moved (Summary):

1. 1. A 3-Seater Sofa
2. 2. A 4-Seater Dining Table with Chairs
3. 3. 2 Double Bed Frames with Mattresses
4. 4. Wardrobes and Standing Mirrors
5. 5. Packed boxes containing kitchenware and other household effects.

(A comprehensive inventory will be provided during the pre-move inspection).

Requirements for the Service Provider:

• A. Proven Experience: Must have verifiable experience in long-distance furniture/logistics haulage within Nigeria.
• B. Valid Documentation: Must possess all necessary legal documents for interstate haulage (e.g., Driver's license, vehicle papers, insurance).
• C. Adequate Vehicle: Must provide a reliable, road-worthy, and suitably-sized vehicle for the job.
• D. Insurance: Having goods-in-transit insurance is a significant advantage.
• E. References: Ability to provide references or links to reviews from previous clients for similar jobs.
