Job Title: Appliance Repair Technician for Thermocool Table Burner

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and certified gas appliance technician to repair and service my Thermocool Table Burner comprehensively. The appliance has a faulty left burner and requires a full safety inspection and service.

Specific Tasks to be Performed:

The successful technician will be required to:

1. 1.  Initial Leakage Test: Conduct a thorough safety check using a soapy water solution or a gas leak detector to identify any potential gas leakages from the hose, regulators, valves, or connectors before any repair begins.
   
   
2. 2.  Diagnose and Repair the Left Burner: Identify the root cause of the left burner's failure and perform the necessary repair. This may involve:
          Clearing a clogged burner jet/port.
          Replacing a damaged burner head or cap.
          Fixing or replacing the gas supply line to the left burner.
   
   
3. 3.  Post-Repair Leakage Test: After fixing the burner, perform a second and final leakage test to ensure all connections are secure and the appliance is completely safe to use.
   
   
4. 4.  Repair/Replace the Left Burner Regulator: The regulator for the left burner is not functioning correctly. It must be repaired or replaced with a high-quality, compatible replacement part.
   
   
5. 5.  Complete Servicing: Perform a full service of the entire appliance, which includes:
          Cleaning all burner heads and ports to ensure even flame distribution.
          Checking and cleaning the ignition system (spark electrodes).
          Inspecting the gas hose for wear, cracks, or damage.
          Verifying the functionality and safety of the main control knobs.
          Ensuring both burners light easily and produce a stable, blue flame.
   
   

Requirements for the Technician:

• Proven Experience: Must have verifiable experience in repairing Thermocool or similar brand gas burners and cookers.
• Technical Knowledge: Must be able to diagnose issues accurately and explain them clearly.
• Quality Parts: Must use only high-quality, safe, and compatible spare parts for any replacements.
• Safety-Certified: Certification or training in gas appliance repair is a significant advantage.
• Tools: Must come with all necessary tools and equipment for the job, including gas leak detection tools.
